Our Headquarters are based in California, USA. Dole Food Company, Inc. is the world’s largest producer and marketer of high-quality fresh fruit, fresh vegetables and fresh-cut flowers.

Dole also markets a growing line of packaged and frozen foods. We are a produce industry leader in nutritional education and research.

With around 45,000 permanent employees and 42,000 seasonal or temporary employees we operate a fully-integrated worldwide company – sourcing, growing, harvesting, processing, transporting and marketing our products.

Within this integrated organisation, Dole operates more than 60 processing, ripening and distribution centres. We also have the largest refrigerated containerised shipping fleet in the world – comprising 25 ships and approximately 14,200 refrigerated containers.

We provide our food products to wholesalers, retailers and institutional customers under the DOLE® brand name and other registered trademarks. Global sales exceeded $6.2 billion in 2006.

Our company sources and sells over 200 products in more than 90 countries. Our fresh produce is either grown on Dole farms or supplied by independent producers.
